Last week's sunshine was truly generous, warmly shining over the factory area, and even the air carried a hint of anticipation - because we were about to welcome a special guest: a heavy truck purchasing client from Libya.

To be honest, when we received the task of hosting, everyone in the team felt a little excited. After all, this was a friend coming from afar, and we started preparing days in advance: the equipment in the workshop was specially inspected thoroughly, the vehicle models in the exhibition hall were repeatedly adjusted, and even the translation materials were checked three times. We wanted the client to come and feel our professionalism and sincerity.

On the day of the client's arrival, we waited at the door early. When we saw the vehicle approaching from afar, everyone instinctively straightened their clothes. The door opened, the client walked down with a smile, greeting us in fluent English, instantly reducing the sense of strangeness. After a brief greeting, we went straight to the topic - showing him around the workshop.

As soon as we entered the workshop, the rumbling of the machines greeted us, but it was not chaotic at all. The client's eyes lit up immediately, and he walked straight to the heavy truck frame being assembled. Our technical supervisor quickly followed, explaining from the selection of high-strength steel to the millimeter-level precision control during welding. The client listened very attentively, occasionally squatting down to touch the weld seam and taking pictures with his phone of the automated mechanical arm. "How about the heat resistance of the engine?" "Are there fuel consumption data for full load?" The questions he raised were very professional, and the technical supervisor explained while gesturing, even the nearby workers couldn't help but smile and give a thumbs-up.

After leaving the workshop, the client had a small notebook in his hand, filled with several pages of notes. Then we went to the exhibition hall. As soon as we entered, he was attracted by a red dump truck, pulling the sales manager into the driver's cabin. "The view is good!" "The seat's very comfortable." He nodded while experiencing it, and asked us to open the door and take a close look at the hinge work. When he heard that we had specially reinforced the chassis suspension for the harsh desert conditions in Libya, he suddenly clapped his hands: "This is extremely important!"

During lunch together, the client talked about their country's infrastructure plans, saying they needed durable and economical heavy trucks. We took the opportunity to present a customized plan, explaining from model recommendations to the layout of after-sales service outlets. After listening, he was particularly impressed: "I originally just wanted to come and have a look, but now I feel that the possibility of cooperation is too great."

On the day we sent the client away, he held our boss's hand and said: "Your production strength and dedication are more convincing than what was written in the email." This statement made everyone feel warm inside.

In fact, doing the heavy truck business is like making friends - you have to show your true self, and then people will be willing to open up to you. This reception was not just an inspection, but more like a trust-building journey across mountains and seas. Looking forward to the near future, our heavy trucks will be able to roam on the land of Libya, that would be the most fulfilling thing!
